AN OPEN LETTER TO ALL SALE SWIMMING CLUB INC. MEMBERS FROM THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE.

The Executive Committee of Sale Swimming Club Inc. would like to thank all Club members for the support that they have shown the Club and the Committee to date. We welcome the new Season full of anticipation that the Club will again have another successful year. Our goal is a common one - to make Sale Swimming Club a great club which achieves high results and has a fun time in doing so.

As a result of the AGM, it is obvious that the Club faces some important issues. We encourage all Club members to have an active input into any issues that they regard as important, and to convey this either verbally or in writing to the Executive Committee. Please be assured that all concerns raised will be dealt with confidentially and swiftly, but with the respect that all our Club members deserve.

It is important that the Committee is fully supported by all Club members, confident that appropriate steps are being put in place to make our Club stronger for the long term. However, we need to see this support by members becoming more actively involved in the day to day running of the Club. The Committee is a small group of dedicated members who all have their own busy lives to run outside the Club, and this should be respected. As we expect our children to be motivated to get up and swim every morning whilst constantly improving themselves, we also need to be motivated to assist the Club and to ensure that it continues to be the great club that it is for all our children.

Finally, due to existing and conflicting commitments by some key members of the Committee, the successful hosting of the Oil City Christopher Hirth Memorial Swim Meet depends on a special effort by existing Club members to assist in the preparation and the running of the Meet. Please, if you can help we would love to hear from you, and if you are requested to assist - please respond positively.

Kind Regards,

Alison McNairTrevor AndersonAmanda CastleDavid Keil
