These Championships were very exciting for the club with our swimmers returning with nine medals in total including:
 2 Gold,
 4 Silver
  3 Bronze!
And  a total of 39 PB’s recorded for the weekend.
Day one finals were a fantastic start to the meet with a total of 4 finals for 4 medals - 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals!
Day two provided more excitement with 2 silver medals and to cap off the fantastic meet we finished day 3 with gold, silver and bronze medals.
Birthday celebrations were in full swing over the weekend with Coach Donna turning 40 and also Megan Keil celebrating her birthday yesterday.
Thank you to Darren and Rod who organized a fantastic “Last Chance PB BBQ” for the last night hosting in excess of 65 swimmers and families for a well-deserved celebration of our swimmers achievements over the weekend.
To all involved, from Coaches, Swimmers, Team Manager Linda, Committee Members, Parents, Siblings, Grand Parents & supporters, thank you all for a fantastic weekend and awesome Sale Swimming club spirit!

Donna Rowand celebrated the fact she survived her 40th Birthday celebrations at Countries 2012.

Note: Donna was the only adult (?) member awake and available for a photo Tuesday morning.
